Groupe Bouhyer is a manufacturer of cast-iron counterweights founded in 1913. This French SME is well-known throughout the world and it exports 90% of its production to the European Community. Its products are highly technical with elaborated finishing. The graphite cast icon counterweights range from 500 kg to 25 tonnes. The marine renewables sector requires constant research and development to maintain its high growth and Bouhyer rises to this challenge with designers and manufacturers. Its counterweights can be used as anchoring points for wind turbines or tidal devices. Their solidity and quality offer guaranteed long-term use and they provide an optimal technical solution thanks to the adaptability of the casts. Their metallurgic properties mean durability that is five times that of steel in the marine environment while being one of the most affordable solutions on the market.
