The International Conference on Ocean Energy, first held in 2006, has become a major event for marine renewable energy professionals. The Regional Agency of the Pays de la Loire will attend the forthcoming conference (23-25 February), along with several regional actors in the sector.
One hundred and twenty-five exhibitors and more than 900 visitors are expected at the 2016 edition of the International Conference on Ocean Energy (ICOE). This bi-annual reference event traverses the globe: after the 2014 event hosted by Halifax (Canada), the upcoming meeting takes place in Edinburgh (Scotland) from the 23 to 25 February 2016.
Exhibition space dedicated to the promotion of several actors in the Pays de la Loire is already booked, most prominently by Neopolia and WeAMEC, who will set up shop at stands 30 and 31 in the exhibition hall. Parallel B2B networking is being organized by the Enterprise Europe Network.
From R&D to export
Participants will be able to organize their own programme through the three days of the conference, alternating between technology presentations and briefing sessions on international markets. The theme of the 2016 edition—”From concept to commercialization”—aims to furnish players in the marine renewables sector with all the ingredients for effective development worldwide.
Regional actors who wish to attend the event may avail themselves of the services of the Regional Agency.
